Firefighter

Agency: City of Rincon Fire Department

The City of Rincon is currently seeking fire fighters. The City of Rincon is a growing community and is seeking firefighters with good communication skills in dealing with the public. Currently we have 1 shift that consists of the 24/48 hour shift.

The successful candidates will have the minimum of: 18 years of age, good physical condition, possession of a Georgia Drivers License and be able to obtain a Non Commercial Class B license within 3 months of hire, have a NPQ Firefighter I , Georgia 48 hour First Responder Certification, and 3 to 5 years full time experience preferred.  Salary to be commensurate with experience.

Recreation COORDINATOr

The City of Rincon is currently seeking a full time Recreation Coordinator. The City of Rincon is undergoing growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible for scheduling practices and games for each sport Rincon Recreation offers. This position will also be responsible for coordinating concession workers, supervising games, assisting in program development, as well as light field maintenance. Night and weekend work is a requirement for this position. Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years experience in recreation or a related field. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree to be eligible for hire. A viable applicant will have a valid GA. drivers license.

Police Officer

The starting salary is considered based on certifications and experience.

Potential candidates must be at least 21 years of age, be a State of Georgia P.O.S.T. certified police officer in good standing, and have a minimum of a high school Diploma. As a condition of employment, all new police officers must sign an agreement that they will not use tobacco products while on-duty.
