The City of Rincon is currently seeking a Utilities Dept.
Customer Service Clerk. This position requires that the applicant
have good verbal and written communication skills, good computer
skills, and the minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicant should be familiar with various computer programs. Some
vocational training is preferred in the secretarial and financial
studies area. The City of Rincon requires that the viable applicant
have a valid driver’s license. Applicant will be required to pass a
background check and drug screen. Applicant must have the ability to
lift up to 40 pounds.

Part-time Recreation Maintenance Laborer
The City of Rincon is currently seeking a part
time Recreation Maintenance Laborer. A viable applicant will have a
valid GA. driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED. The cut
off date for accepting applications will be January 22, 2010.
Employee hours will be Monday through Friday,
with some work in the evenings and on Saturday mornings. Weekly
time will be based on the athletic season and time of year. Duties
will include, but may not be limited to, grass cutting, athletic
field maintenance, special event planning, service of lawnmowers &
weedeaters, custodial work, supervision of inmate detail assigned to
Rincon Recreation, and park supervision. Applicant will be required
to pass a physical and a drug screen. Applicant should have basic
computer skills, and be familiar with various computer programs.
Applicant must have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and will be

Police Officer
The starting salary is considered based on certifications and
experience.
Potential candidates must be at least 21 years of age, be a
Georgia P.O.S.T. certified police officer in good standing, and have
a minimum of a high school Diploma. As a condition of employment,
all new police officers must sign an agreement that they will not
use tobacco products while on-duty.
