Welcome to Rincon,
Georgia
Just around
the corner from everywhere you want to be…
Where neighbors become lifelong friends. Where
conveniences, family entertainment and recreation are right around the
corner. Where businesses thrive and families grow. Where rich history and
tradition meet a visionary view of the future.
Where
is here -- Rincon, Georgia. And what you’ll find unique about Rincon is
its hometown feel with a friendly city atmosphere. Just a few minutes
north of Interstate 95 on Highway 21 with easy access to both Pooler and
Savannah, Rincon provides the best of both worlds – the conveniences of
city living with hometown comforts, all “just around the corner.” To both
residents and businesses alike, it’s why they choose to call Rincon home.
Look nestled among the oak trees, quiet neighborhood streets and original
buildings and you’ll find Rincon’s roots as a small, 1890s railroad town.
A quick glance along its main roadways and you’ll see a city branching out
to meet the needs of its community through its dynamic business
development, infrastructure and public services. It’s the balanced
incorporation of both hometown traditions and progressive yet balanced
growth that makes Rincon such a great place in which to work and live.
Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a newcomer or a business owner, you’ll
find that living and working in Rincon really does mean you’re just around
the corner from the places, people and things that matter most to you. And
that’s what home should be all about.

has placed the entire state of Georgia under a non-drought
schedule for outdoor water use.
Under a
non-drought schedule, outdoor water use is allowed three
days a week on assigned days using odd and even-numbered
addresses.
- Odd-numbered
addresses can water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
-
Even-numbered and unnumbered addresses are allowed to
water on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Water use may
occur at any time of the day on the assigned days, but to be
water efficient, landscape watering should not occur between
10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The non-drought schedule is included in
the Rules for Outdoor Water Use. |
