Fire Department
The City of Rincon is supported by two
fire houses located at W. 17th Street and Ebenezer Road. For information on obtaining your fire insurance rating,
contact the Fire Department by calling (912) 826-5022. For fire
emergencies, dial 911.
Medical Services
Quality medical services are available
right in the Rincon area. Through
Effingham
County Hospital, residents receive emergency medical care and
extended care services. Effingham Hospital has been serving Effingham
County and its residents since 1969. Accredited by the Joint Commission
on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the facility is licensed
as a 45-bed hospital with a diversified medical staff. Effingham
Hospital operates a full-service emergency department and nationally
recognized chest pain center. Cardiac rehabilitation, respiratory,
physical, occupational, and speech therapy services are also available.
In addition to local doctors and
dentists,
many medical professionals affiliated with
St. Joseph’s/Candler
Hospital and
Memorial Health University Medical Center also have branch offices
in the Rincon area to provide convenient access for their patients. In
the case of all medical emergencies, residents should dial 911.
