You won’t find a better way to enjoy life
in Rincon than to head to the great outdoors. Boating, beaching,
picnicking or simply enjoying the abundance of natural settings
surrounding the City of Rincon can provide you with a variety of outing
options. Visit the historic
New Ebenezer settlement
and dynamic Ebenezer Alive Program for great hands-on learning
experiences, or wander the many rivers and wildlife areas on your own.
It’s a sure way to appreciate Rincon’s relaxed, hometown way of life.
Parks
The City of Rincon provides fun and safe
environments for its littlest citizens to enjoy. Playgrounds are located
at Jaycee Veterans Memorial Park (on the corner of Highway 21 and 17th
Street in front of the Library) and at Macomber Ballpark (1004 North
Lexington Avenue). Both playgrounds are open during daylight hours.
Macomber Ballpark ball field hours are from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Practice
fields are also located on the corner of 7th Street and Atlantic Avenue. Featuring state-of-the-art equipment
and a child-friendly atmosphere, the City’s play areas provide residents
with hours of family fun.
