City of Rincon to Hold Special Council Meeting for Swearing-In of Elected Officials

Rincon, GA (January 7, 2025) The City of Rincon will hold a specially called City Council meeting tonight to conduct the swearing-in ceremony for its elected officials.

The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Rincon Police Department, 107 W. 17th Street.

During the ceremony, Kevin Exley will be sworn in as Mayor following his reelection. Tim Milner and Ben Blackwell will also be sworn in after being reelected to continue serving on the Rincon City Council. The City will additionally welcome Trisha Boyette, who will be sworn in to her first term as a City Council member.

The ceremony marks both continuity and new leadership for the City of Rincon, as elected officials begin new terms and reaffirm their commitment to serving the community.
