ECSD schools and offices will be closed on Monday, February 2.
We are closely monitoring weather and road conditions and remain in constant communication with Effingham Emergency Management Agency (EEMA). While many main roads may be clear, some roads—especially those with heavy tree cover—could remain iced and unsafe for travel.
The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. At this time, we anticipate normal school operations will resume on Tuesday, February 3, and we will share a confirmation update by 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
